Your responsibilities will include:
· Planning, designing and implementing temporary works and infrastructure
· Scheduling, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring construction programs
· Ensuring the construction works are coordinated effectively in line with the scheduled program
· Analysing and evaluating construction techniques, and recommending options and solutions
· Ensuring works are scheduled appropriately in order to minimise downtime and /or interface issues
· Leading and supervising a team of Site Engineers
· Informing the Construction Manager on any significant compliance issue across health and safety, environment or quality assurance which will impact either the delivery of the works or relationship with a client or stakeholder
Qualifications and experience:
· At least 5 years in civil construction, ideally with large road project experience
· Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
· Ability to forecast and track daily/monthly costs effectively
· Experience to advise on appropriate construction methodologies
