Introduction

China Geo-Engineering Corporation Southern African Branch was established in 2000, and currently consists three sub-branches: Zambia branch office, Lesotho branch office and Mozambique branch office, which all obtain the Grade One Certification for Civil Engineering and Construction in their resident countries respectively.

Mainly engaged in road and bridge construction as well as water supply projects, the company is capable to execute the design and construction of various types of roads, bridges and water supply facilities. So far the Company has contracted and accomplished about 100 road construction and water supply projects including below well-known projects:

1. Rehabilitation of Trunk Road T1 from Zimba to Livingstone Km 30.00 to Km 72.80 Road, Southern Province, Zambia.

2. THE UPGRADING TO BITUMINOUS STANDARD OF LEOPARDS HILL ROAD (D152) FROM STATE LODGE JUNCTION TO KATOBA BASIC SCHOOL (43.8KM) IN LUSAKA PROVINCE OF ZAMBIA, ZPPA/CE/015/12, Zambia

3. UPGRADING TO BITUMINOUS STANDARD AND RE-ALIGNMENT OF APPROXIMATELY 91KM OF D145 FROM GREAT EAST ROAD AT LUANGWA BRIDGE TO LUANGWA (FEIRA) ROAD IN LUSAKA PROVINCE OF ZAMBIA - LOT 4, Zambia

4. The Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Mokhotlong – Sani Pass Road (46,5 km), Lesotho

5. Design Review Study, Updating of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Construction of Semonkong – Sekake Road Lot 1B (Km 80 +300 to Km 141+300), Lesotho

6. Maputo Water Supply Project, Component 1, Transmission Main Works
