With double seal surface, 91Km road length, 8.2m width and 24 months duration, ‘Upgrading to Bituminous Standard and Realignment of Approximately 91Km From Great East Road at Luangwa Bridge to Luangwa (Feira) in Lusaka Province-Lot4’ project is a contract awarded to China Geo-Engineering Corporation. The district road D145 is a strategic route linking Luangwa Boma(Feira) from the truck road, Great East Road(T4). The road is the shorter route to Zimbabwe and Mozambique from T4 through Luangwa from Lusaka, Zambia.

This is the section, the excavation are mainly the mountain and just the other side is the Luangwa River. It is a big challenge for the company to excavate the mountain, finally, the works is perfect.
